Bornos is another one of Cádiz province’s white village. Its stately houses and beautiful street and garden structures are typical of the rich Andalusian architecture found in the region.
As a town, Bornos is primarily agricultural in nature, with many great marshes watered by the Guadalete river. From its orchards, the town produces a range of fruits and vegetable of very high quality. It is famous for its cabbage and the different gastronomic interpretations of it that food connoisseurs can taste from the inns and restaurants around town. In terms of handicrafts, Bornos baskets stand out in terms of quality in craftsmanship.
