The feast of Algar’s patron saint, the Virgin of Guadalupe, is celebrated in the month of September, and then there is the celebration of the old Roman patron saint: San Nicolas in June. The Noche Flamenca festivities can be expected in August and the Feria de Primavera in May. The Carnaval is in February.
