Algar travelers can check out the Dehesilla cave, the Roman ruins of Calduba, and the Iglesia Parroquial de Santa María de Guadalupe church. The Ayuntamiento or city hall as well as the town plaza of Toros are only two of the several historical building scattered around the village. The Majaceite river can be found north of the village area, very close to the reservoir Pantano de los Hurones.
