Festivals in Algodonales include the usual Carnaval in March, the Romería de La Muela and Romería de la Virgencita in May, and probably the most important celebration of all: the Conmemoración de la Resistencia en 1810 also held in May. In June there’s the Campeonato del Mundo de Ala Delta, and in July, both the Feria de La Muela in honor of the Virgen del Carmen and the Feria y Fiestas de Santiago y Santa Ana.
