The residents of Benalup - Casas Viejas enjoy an assortment of festivals and celebrations throughout the year. There’s the Carnaval that runs from the last week of February to the first week of March, the Fiesta de la Independencia y Semana Cultural de Benalup in mid March, the Romería de Las Lagunetas in May, the Feria y Fiestas de Santiago y Santa Ana in July, the Fiesta de la Patrona Nuestra Señora del Socorro in August and the Concurso de Cante Flamenco "Casas Viejas" in September.
