Primarily an agricultural town, vineyards and oakwoods grow in abundance. The terrain is soft and rolling but the inland is forested. Pinewoods also grow along the coastlines.
Lakes can also be found: Jelli and Montellano, which are favorite nesting grounds of birds and fowls, some of them endangered species.
