Cadiz Travel pathIndeed the path to travel is simple if you are into it in heart and soul. Every path every scent every city every place will be treasured. Travel in Cadiz is exactly like that. You entered the city hoping to find Holiday in every sense of the word and you found more…you found a home. A home for a vagabond. Now you wonder what made catches your heart. Now you wondered why Cadiz will forever be a dream come true… not once but many times.

The most effective aphrodisiac’s magnet to a traveler is good food and good accommodation that is besides a good architecture and tourist attraction. Even with a good view but then the stomach is hungry pleasures just flew out of the window. Give a guest a good food and a good wine and expect that your city will not only be remembered but treasured and loved. Holiday in Cadiz is like staying in a well kept garden with bountiful of fruits.

The Town Hall and Gran Teatro are two of which my family had fallen in love. The why remains to be seen on their own blogs. But as far as I knew, we actually spent long hours in these two structures. They talk of history as if it is happening right now. Though, among the Cadiz tourist attractions I have a soft spot for the Cadiz Towers. It made me smile even to think of the stories that are link to it. Even the myths made me smile and wish and made my heart ache. The untold stories can be seen on the very structure itself. Yes I think my children are indeed my children for they are all romantic fellows too. We talked of so many broken hearts and love fulfilled all because of the Cadiz Tower.

Choose the cuisines that you can take from Phoenician, Moorish and Roman influences. All for just one Cadiz Holiday.
  • Wines are the best products of the land. And who else could taste the first drop of a perfect creation given by gods to mortals but the Cadiz people. And why should you not take part of such a gift whenever you are in Cadiz? The best producers of cherry and wines are all here in Cadiz.
  • Cadiz accommodation has evolve into something that every traveler wishes. If you wanted to spend money at the finest cadiz accommodation then you will find the best. If you are in the a budget travel..seek the most respectable room in the city.

It has not only adorned Cadiz beautiful architecture, history and story but also with museums, bays, and culture. Cadiz travel is always considered as full and fun. What are the must-see destinations that you should visit when you are in Cadiz.

  • Cadiz Museums. There must be a record of the rich history that befits Cadiz. Thus it is but befitting to adorned it with so many museums. The Gran Teatro Manuel de Falla is as alive as its breathing ancestors and its fanatics. The interior design and the building are already impressive for the guest. Visit Cadiz Architecture

Monuments are History’s proof of the events that has long been gone. It is also a standing architecture that mirrors that city’s financial, social and economic status. Cadiz is such a hub of wonderful architectures. Let us take a look at some of wonders Cadiz has offerred us. There are monuments and architecture in Cadiz that impresses even the neophytes guests. The mere existence of such such building is enough proof of how Cadiz preserved its culture and heritage.

Cadiz Monument and architecture to visit:

  • Cadiz Cathedral is 116 years in the making. and could you imagine where you are during the making of such architecture? In fact the styles has changed so much through the decades. The architectural style started in Baroque Style. One Cadiz Monument never to miss. Each part of the cathedral is a witness of the architectural changes from the altar to the vaults and the dome.
  • Lighthouse Cadiz is the most noteworthy of the monuments in Cadiz. It was built to warn ship of the big rock the they would be facing and meeting. Yet, though this lighthouse was built the rock has been the reason for so many ship wreckage. This lighthouse is the tallest in the Spanish land and perhaps the 3rd tallest in the whole world.
  • Alcazar is the location to view the Cathedral at its point of view. The walls are built by Almohades. Alcazar is located in Jered de la Frontera.
  • Real Escuela Conunto Arqueologico Romano is another popular destination in Cadiz. It has an unusual underground galleries for the water conduits made by Roman engineer during the 1C AD; a proof of Roman superiority in engineering during their times.
  • Royal Prison was built by Torcuato Benjumeda and the first model of a neoclassical style in this part of Spain.
