Cadiz is one of the best places in Spain when it comes to its beauty and spots. It has lots of ruins that you should not miss to discover when you were in the city. A short stroll to the famous historic landmark of the city which is the Cadiz Cathedral is a good idea. You will be amazed of its façade and its inner part. The fantastic golden tiled dome is incredibly amazing. It has been said that the covered dome and the entire structure of the cathedral is from the 18th century since the baroque period. The cathedral is the best destination if you want to feel the real essence of serenity and calmness. While the lower part of the cathedral found the middle round basement, when you make a sound the echo creates a mind-boggling effect.

Upon strolling the cathedral, you will be stunned with its various collections that include the resting place of the previous famous music composer Manuel de Falla. From here, you will also be witnessing the old quarters where you will discover the Fine Arts and Archaeology Museum. The museum houses some of the relics being used for fishing in the fishing port. Aside from the Cadiz Cathedral, the Oratorio of Santa Cruz is also an interesting temple of worship. The temple features two unique areas: the first floor caters the monotonous 18th century chapel with a crucifix on it, while on the upper floor you can see the ornamented church, and because of its amazing decoration, it is like it has been fall down from the clouds. Goya’s religious canvases is also a must see, this is an opportunity that you should not miss to visit.
